Mr smith was kind and helpful throughout, he answered all questions without rushing and put me at ease at every stage.
Most of all he showed great empathy, and judged a difficult situation well.

Mr Smith was excellent - skillful and supportive at all times. Sympathetic to my needs as a patient, particularly delivering both difficult and good news.
Worked well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with close liaison with relevant colleagues. and gave good feedback and advice.
He gave extremely helpful information and it was also interesting to read some of his research publications.
Highly recommended.

In early 2013, I unfortunately developed a serious thyroid problem. Fortunately, I had private medical insurance and was appointed to a specialist. He was utterly useless. His advice and the bad luck to also have an equally useless GP, meant that I became very ill.
My husband searched for an expert in the thyroid disease field, and by good fortune and the grace of God, we were referred to Simon Smith.
I cannot praise this man highly enough.
His expertise, care, empathy, bedside manner, and personal approach was truly heart lifting.
My planned operation was intricate and with risks. Simon explained all of this thoroughly previous to my agreement to go ahead.
When we decided to go ahead, the operation was carried out extremely successfully, and his after care and ongoing advice and conern have been exemplary.
Rest assured, that without the skills and knowledge of this wonderful surgeon, it is realistic to say that I would most certainly suffered for longer.
A thoroughly wonderfully gifted surgeon, who is an absolute credit to his profession, his training and his peers.

He genuinely cares about you and helps you to find your own answers to your problems. He explains the treatment details in a simple way and makes you feel like you can ask anything without feeling silly.
I am very happy with my breast reconstruction after breast cancer, a very gifted man. He gave me choices throughout my cancer treatment and helped me to find the right treatment for me.
